Residents of Clinton and Ingham Counties may bring their sharps containers to the Recycling Office for free disposal. If you do not have a biohazard container, liquid laundry detergent bottles or plastic coffee containers may be used. Containers must have sealed lids. Residents of Clinton County can pick up free sharps containers at participating pharmacies.
Sharps should not be mixed with other materials. No milk jugs, plastic juice containers, plastic bags or cardboard boxes.
