Rancho Santa Margarita City Hall Sharps Mail-Back Program

Call or visit the city website to request a free sharps disposal by mail kit. The system is comprised of a container in which you place your used needles and a government approved return by mail system and instructions for use. When the container is full, it is mailed in the pre-paid postage return box. The waste will then be properly documented and destroyed.

It is against the law in the state of California to dispose of sharps in the household trash.
