Sharps must be in puncture proof containers, such as a detergent bottle or bleach bottle. The lid should be taped shut and the word "SHARPS" written on the container. A sharps container purchased at a pharmacy may be used. Sharps accepted on Household Hazardous Waste Collection Days Only.
Senior citizens and disabled residents are eligible for free pick up of sharps. Please call 916-617-4656 to schedule an appointment.
