Sharps must be in a sharps container or other sealed, puncture proof container that is no larger than 1.5 quarts. If your container does not fit inside the kiosk, please bring it to the LaSalle County Health Department Reception Desk, 717 E Etna Rd. in Ottawa, during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
Residents may obtain free sharps containers from the LaSalle County Forensic Center during business hours, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.
