Sharps must be in a sharps container. Request a free sharps container and instructions on its use. Take the container home and dispose of your used syringes completely intact into sharps container. When the container is 3/4 of the way full, permanently close the top following directions on the container. Once closed, return the filled sharps container for proper disposal. Obtain a new sharps container for free.
