Sharps must be in a rigid, plastic container that is puncture resistant, leak-proof, portable, labeled with the word 'SHARPS' written on it and it must be closable and sealable. Please tape the lid if necessary. Proof of residency required.
It is against the law in the state of California to dispose of sharps in the household trash.
